January 2011 Annual Memorial Services and Breakfast
The Annual Memorial Service and Breakfast was held January 30, 2011. The Memorial Church Service was held at 7:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in Beacon. The Breakfast was held after at the Fire Station.
The Memorial Service is held to honor Bob Cramer who died fighting a fire on Main Street and all other members of Tompkins Hose who have died. Chairperson Nick McGovern and members who cooked and worked hard to make the event a success were rewarded by the outcome. People who attended were LTH members, their families and community members. Among the attendees were Mayor Gold and members of the Poughkeepsie Exempt Firemen's Association.
